The Track Diagram Control Panel is the command center of your model railway layout. Designed as a software solution for the DiMAX Command Station, it combines the clarity of traditional control panels with the precision of modern digital operation \u2013 without requiring any programming knowledge.<\/p>\n

At a glance, you can view your entire track layout, switch turnouts with a mouse click, and control signals in real time. Straight tracks, curves, turnouts, crossings, and contact tracks can be placed intuitively on a grid-based layout. The intelligent dual-mode concept clearly separates planning from operation: In Editor Mode, you design and configure your track plan, while in Operation Mode, you control the layout live \u2013 preventing accidental changes during operation. Saved states allow complete turnout and signal configurations to be recalled at the touch of a button, instantly synchronizing all connected hardware.<\/p>\n

Operational safety is enhanced by an integrated emergency stop function and visual contact track feedback. The built-in Data Log records USB communication for easy troubleshooting, markers provide fast navigation across large layouts, and the color tool helps organize and identify different track sections.<\/p>\n

The CV Programmer is the ideal tool for configuring DCC decoders quickly and precisely directly from your PC. As part of the PC Module III ecosystem, it combines professional functionality with intuitive operation.<\/p>\n

Whether for locomotive or accessory decoders, you can read and write decoder addresses as well as any CV value directly via the programming track. After each operation, all relevant configuration values are displayed clearly, including their binary representation when required.<\/p>\n

Clear status messages keep you informed at all times, indicating successful operations or highlighting potential issues such as short circuits, communication errors, or connection problems.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Locomotive Test Function \u2013 Test Digital Locomotives Directly on a Service Board or Test Track<\/strong><\/p>\n

This function turns your PC into a fully featured control panel for digital locomotives. Through the PC Module III, you gain immediate, direct access to your locomotive \u2013 without routing commands through a command station and without any complex setup.<\/p>\n

The interactive control panel allows you to adjust speed and direction intuitively using a mouse or touchscreen. Simply drag the speedometer needle or move the throttle slider, and the locomotive responds instantly in real time. Whether you prefer precise 128-speed-step control or the traditional 14 or 28 speed-step modes, the desired resolution can be selected at the touch of a button. Lighting, sound, and all special functions can be controlled directly via up to 61 freely assignable function buttons (F0\u2013F60) as well as 99 Binary State functions. For advanced users, the Locomotive Test Function also provides direct Programming on the Main (POM), allowing CV values to be adjusted conveniently while the locomotive remains in operation.<\/p>\n

Turnout Test Function<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Turnout Test Function is the ideal tool for model railway enthusiasts who want to test turnout and signal decoders before installing them on their layout. Connected via the PC Module III, it provides immediate access to all essential switching functions.<\/p>\n

Four standard switching channels allow turnouts and signals to be operated in either direction across the entire address range from 1 to 2046. Two additional channels for extended accessory addresses support continuous value inputs from 0 to 255, making them ideal for advanced signal control applications. Light signals can be set instantly to green, yellow, or red using dedicated quick-access controls. The integrated Programming on the Main (POM) CV programming function allows CV values to be modified directly during testing, supporting both standard and extended accessory addresses. For maximum safety, an integrated Emergency Stop button immediately disconnects power to the test track whenever required.<\/p>\n

Backup & Update<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Backup & Update module provides a central platform for keeping all supported components up to date with the latest firmware. Whether updating a bus-connected device such as a Feedback Module, Radio Receiver, or Navigator via the system bus, or updating track-connected components such as locomotive and sound decoders via Track Update or FastUpdate (SUSI interface), all update functions are managed through a single, unified interface.<\/p>\n

The DiMAX PC Module III serves as the central update hub, automatically handling the selected component and firmware file using the appropriate update method. This eliminates the need for complex procedures and ensures a reliable and user-friendly update process. In addition to firmware updates, the module also provides backup and restore functions for supported devices, allowing important configuration data to be securely stored and recovered whenever needed.<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/strong> Some functions are not yet available, as they require an upcoming firmware update for the DiMAX PC Module III. This update will be released shortly. For proper operation, please copy the MCC to a local drive on your PC. Running the software directly from a network drive is not supported.<\/p>\n
