{"id":3690,"date":"2019-11-20T11:49:24","date_gmt":"2019-11-20T10:49:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.massoth24.de\/?p=3690"},"modified":"2022-10-31T13:29:12","modified_gmt":"2022-10-31T12:29:12","slug":"anschluss-xxl-xl-xls-an-aristocraft-schnittstelle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.massoth.de\/en\/anschluss-xxl-xl-xls-an-aristocraft-schnittstelle\/","title":{"rendered":"Connection XXL \/ XL \/ XLS at Aristocraft Interface"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The interface consists of two socket strips, of which however only one is used (see locomotive instructions)<br \/>\nAgain, you can easily connect a decoder Massoth with the basic functions (motor + lights).<br \/>\nYou need a 12-pole pin strip, which is connected to the decoder according to the plan below.<br \/>\nThe interface is symmetrical except for the two inner pins 6 + 7.<br \/>\nThe 4 external connections (track +\/-) should be connected to the decoder with double cables as shown in the plan.<br \/>\nIn these locomotives, even larger currents can flow, so that a cable would be overloaded.<br \/>\nThe track is polarized according to the NMRA standard.<br \/>\nTherefore connect the connections +\/- of track and motor as well as the light front \/ rear.<br \/>\nThus, the locomotive is identical to an LGB locomotive.<br \/>\nWhen inserting into the interface, the polarity must be observed (arrow marking).<br \/>\nPin7 leads to ground (dec-) and causes a short circuit if the connection is turned.<br \/>\nOn the interface, the smoke unit is still connected.<br \/>\nThis did not work with our Test loco (Dash-9).<br \/>\nSince the current consumption of the smoke unit is quite high, you should switch this over an additional relay.<\/p>\n<p>When selecting the decoder, special attention must be paid to the current consumption of the motors.
