Identification of the decoder when installed<\/p>\n

Often you have the problem with a hand purchased loco, not knowing what decoder is installed.
\nThere is some advice on how to get information about it.
\nAs an example using our navigator in CV reading mode<\/p>\n

You can identify the manufacturer in CV 8.
\nBased on the value you can then assign the manufacturer.

You can read the software version with CV 7.
\nWith CV 167 you can read the sound type as follows:
\n1 = Steam loco
\n2 = Diesel loco
\n3 = Electro loco<\/p>\n

You can easy identify your decoder with our DCC Programmer.
