{"id":3767,"date":"2019-11-20T13:49:10","date_gmt":"2019-11-20T12:49:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.massoth24.de\/?p=3767"},"modified":"2022-10-13T09:35:42","modified_gmt":"2022-10-13T07:35:42","slug":"infrarot-pzb-pendelstrecke","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.massoth.de\/en\/infrarot-pzb-pendelstrecke\/","title":{"rendered":"Infrared: Shuttle operation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"Simple_Shuttle_operation_with_two_stops\" class=\"showhide_heading\"><u>Simple Shuttle operation with two\u00a0stops<\/u><\/h3>\n<p>As an example we will describe here a simple shuttle operation with two end points.<br \/>\nThe locos will stop in the station and will start after a fixed time.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.massoth.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Pendelstrecke.jpg\" alt=\"Pendelstrecke\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Please program the IR-Sender 1 as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV 32 = 1 (Address of the signal)<\/li>\n<li>CV 41 = 5 (Automatic)<\/li>\n<li>CV 42 = 4 (Shuttle forward)<\/li>\n<li>CV 45 = 15 (15 Sec. stop)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activate it with switch address 1 left key (on LGB switch command right button)<\/p>\n<p>Please program the IR-Sender 2 as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV 32 = 2 (Address of the signal)<\/li>\n<li>CV 41 = 5 (Automatic)<\/li>\n<li>CV 42 = 6 (Shuttle forward)<\/li>\n<li>CV 45 = 15 (15 Sec. stop)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Activate it with switch address 2 left key (on LGB switch command right button)<\/p>\n<p>Mount the IR-Sender as shown. Calculate a sufficient braking distance when installing the sender.<\/p>\n<p>Please program the IR-Receiver as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV 1 = 64 (Loco address, here value 64)<\/li>\n<li>CV 29 = x (Values must be identical to the loco!)<\/li>\n<li>CV 31+32 = Please program here a \u201cReset Address\u201d to set the state of the signal to green.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can find additional notes <a class=\"wiki external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.massoth.de\/infrarot-pzb-rueckstelladresse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Connect the receiver (with SUSI) as described in the manual.<br \/>\n<strong>Important!<\/strong> Activate in the decoder SUSI (CV 49=18)<\/p>\n<p>Set up the locomotive between the two senders, which moves it forward to the right.<br \/>\nStart forward.<br \/>\nWhen loco 64 is pass over the IR-sender 2, the loco will stop for 15 seconds.<br \/>\nThen the loco starts off in the opposite direction to IR Sender 1.<br \/>\nAgain, the loco stops for another 15 seconds and continues to run in the opposite direction.<br \/>\nTo deactivate the shuttle operation, switch both signals to green (right)<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"Shuttle_operation_with_3_Stations\" class=\"showhide_heading\"><u>Shuttle operation with 3\u00a0Stations<\/u><\/h3>\n<p>As an example a Shuttle operation with 3 stations.<br \/>\nWe assume W1 is electrically connected via decoder<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.massoth.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Pendel_Zweigleisig.jpg\" alt=\"Pendel_Zweigleisig\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In this example the train 1 will drive from from station A to station C. Then it will drive back to station A.<br \/>\nOn arrival of train 1 in station A train 2 will start with a short delay to station C and back to station B.<\/p>\n<p>Please program following values:<br \/>\n<strong>Feedback module<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV 52 = Switch address<\/li>\n<li>CV 55 = 1 (Switch mode)<\/li>\n<li>CV 53+54 = Time value (Should be longer than the opposing train for the return journey + waiting time in station B needs. Maximum 3 minutes are possible)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IR Sender<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV 41 = 5 (Special function Automatic)<\/li>\n<li>CV 42 = 4 or 6 (Shuttle forward\/backward, depending on how the locomotive goes out of the station)<\/li>\n<li>CV 45 = Delay time in station (Time minimum until the switch has switched!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IR Receiver<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV 29 = Same as decoder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The braking distance results from the set roll-out value in the decoder and the speed.<br \/>\nIf all signals are red, turn off a station (A or manually to green and then turn to red.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Simple Shuttle operation with two\u00a0stops As an example we will describe here a simple shuttle operation with two end points.
