The DiMAX FB Train Detection Module (#8170510) monitors four independent track sections. As soon as a train is located on a track section,the track section it is reported as occupied. The continuous running current per occupied signal section is 6A (peak current 8A), the total load capacity is 8A (peak current 12A). The trigger current for the busy signal is between 2mA and 100mA and can be set individually in five steps. Description

The DiMAX FB Train Detection Module (#8170510) monitors four independent track sections. As soon as a train is located on a track section, the track section it is reported as occupied. The busy signal is usually sent to the digital system via a DiMAX Feedback Module and is evaluated and processed there directly or via a connected computer with control software. Alternatively, a direct optical LED busy signal indication can be implemented (e.g. track diagram control panel). The continuous running current per occupied signal section is 6A (peak current 8A), the total load capacity is 8A (peak current 12A). The tripping current for the occupied signal is between 2mA and 100mA and can be individually set in five stages. The independent voltage monitoring ensures fault-free operation of the DiMAX FB Train Detection Module and the track sections during operation, but also in the event of an emergency stop. The DiMAX FB Train Detection Module is suitable for both booster and reversing loop applications. Detailed connection diagrams can be found in the bilingual manual included with the product.
