Connection L Decoder at LGB DCC interface
Attached you can find a plan howto connect a L decoder at a LGB interface cable.

If you have old 3-pin Switch-drives from LGB, you can control this with our 4 channel-switching decoders. Here is a sketch how to connect it: The switching time should be set down a little in CV 51-58 (Value 66).
Sorry, this entry is only available in German.
If you would like to control the Uncoupler with the outputs A5-8 from the XL / LS / XLS, you need a small additional circuit for controlling the Uncoupler. See picture with schematic. The circuit can be easily mounted on a stripboard. P.S.: The L decoder does NOT require this circuit!
Attached you can find a small circuit diagram with Schottky diodes, to realize a Swiss Backlight. Complete with switchable red light. The whole works only with LEDs! Licht Schweiz + rot.pdf Here with additional Shunting light: Licht Schweiz + rot+rangierlicht.pdf
With transistors, the function outputs F5-F8 can be operated with a higher current. Here is an example of the XLS. The polarity of a resistor (1KOhm) does not matter. The polarity of the transistor must be observed!
Here is a simple conversion suggestion for the old LGB-2×430 locomotives (Ge 4/4-II) without interface. With an additional 24V relay you can simply use the old pantograph control. The three-pole cable from the lower part to the upper part is removed. The electronics (motor control) in the lower part are replaced by the XL / XLS decoder. The white + brown cable is connected to the decoder via the…
On several occasions, we set up a circuit here to digitize the old DUO locomotives with electric decouplers. The circuit was tested by me once on an XL decoder and worked and is in this form only for one drive usable. Nevertheless, I can give no guarantees for replicas, this is at your own risk. The circuit must be doubled for both drives. The function output of the decoder…
Due to conversion and maintenance work, the WIKI is currently not available. We will inform you here as soon as the WIKI is online again and apologize for the circumstances.
The sound project of the BR 50 (XLS 8210560) has now been available for about 2 weeks – with the latest update we have optimized the reproduction of the steam chuffs and provided it with a new dynamic, so that we have continuously harmonic steam chuffs, even at high speed. The sound project of the Emma (82×0570) has also been revised and is available for download via the MST….
Here we will explain how to realize a Ditchlight. A Ditchlight are 2 lights of the front light, which blink alternately when operating bell / horn. Here the circuit for a Ditchlight. The values of the resistors have to be adjusted. The following CVs have to be programmed using a XLS and when triggering the Ditchlights should take place on key 1: CV 113=1 (A3 at Key 1) CV…
Today we have updated and uploaded some sound projects for you again. In some sound projects the structure was optimized, partly new sounds were integrated or optimized. Of course, the sound data sheets were also updated with the assignment of the sounds, for some other sound projects the sound data sheets were also updated. As usual, sound projects and firmware updates can be installed via the Massoth Service Tool…
The telephone hotline will not be available during the Faszination Modellbau Friedrichshafen trade fair (01 to 03 November 2019). Thank you for your understanding.
By the end of this year, Massoth will add two additional mounting sets to its range of 8440012 and 8440022 pantograph drives. This makes it possible to equip the PIKO BR 103 (PIKO 37440) and the LGB self unloading wagon (LGB 41615) with a professional drive. Both mounting sets enable a professional and relatively simple as well as quick installation of the drives in the models mentioned. The necessary…
On 3rd and 4th of October the company is closed (Day of German Unity), therefore the telephone hotline cannot be reached either.
This new cup 8000221 in noble dark blue and with a chic print is a must for every garden railway hobbyist. It is also perfect as a gift, souvenir or souvenir. The cup is of course microwave and dishwasher safe.
Since last week the new pantograph drives 8440012 and 8440022 are delivered. On the product pages you will find the corresponding operating instructions. Example videos and further information will follow shortly.
From 13 to 15 September the Märklin Days and the International Model Railway Exhibition will take place again in Göppingen. During this period our telephone hotline is not available.
On the occasion of the forthcoming introduction of the pantograph drives we would like to point out the special introductory offer for both drives (#8440012 and #8440022). Until 30.08.2019, the introductory price for the new drives (always delivered in a double pack) will be € 89,- per PU (packaging unit). From 01.09. the regular sales price of € 99,- per PU will apply. All previous orders will of course…
Dear customers, We are pleased to inform you that the pantograph drives for 8440012 drive for single-arm pantographs (2/pack) and 8440022 drive for scissor pantographs (2/pack) are now in the middle of their production cycle. With well over 100,000 test cycles, the drives easily withstand the loads in the model thanks to the latest special motor. The motors previously planned simply did not withstand the loads in real continuous…
